In the total, 60 thematic sessions are planned (it is expected the presentation of 300 scientific articles), involving areas as Resources Management, Processes, Operations and Production Systems, Quality, Production Engineering, Ergonomics and Hygienic and Work Safety, Economic Engineering, Natural Resouces Management, Ethics and Social Responsability in Production Engineering, Regional Sustenable Development and Production Engineering. The thematic sessions will be developped in a period of about two hourss and they will be constituted by the presentation of a series of related works. The sessions will be an important opportunity for spreading works of researchers, nationals and foreigners who belong to the Production Engineering area. Therefore it will allow an intense exchange of knowledge and material gain to the national engineering.
The number of speakers for this activity is linked to the articles approved to oral presentation. It is estimated that about 360 articles will be approved and presented by authors of all regions of the country.
Posters Sessions
It is planned the presentation of 180 scientific articles exposed as porters, involving areas as Resources Management, Processes, Operation and Production Systems, Operational Research, Quality, Production Engineering, Ergonomics and Hygienic and Work Safety, Economic Engineering, Natural Resources Management, Organizational Structure Engineering, Education in Production Engineering, Ethics and Social Responsibility in Production Engineering, Regional Sustainable Development and Production Engineering.
Posters session represents another way of talking about scientific works in the area of Production Engineering and allow a vast view of the scientific production of several research groups based in Brazil and all the other countries in Latin America. To value the posters session, the best works of each sub area of Production Engineering will be awarded. The poster sessions will have the main target to allow a more personal approach among researchers and the rest of society through a direct and objective interaction. The number of speakers for this activity is linked to the articles approved to become a poster. It is estimated that about 360 articles will be approved and they will be available as poster for the presentation by their authors.
International Seminars
The participation of international experts will assure that those presents in the XXX ENEGEP and XVI ICIEOM will have access to updated information about: art situation of Production Engineering in the international scene, the main market trends, the predominant research lines, the development of new technologies and innovations introduced in the area of this specialty. It is planned to count on 8 international speakers.
Technical Visits
Technical visits are programmed to local companies that can show, in a practical way, the application of Production Engineering. Usually these visits take people to visit firms in order to make them live in a practical way the studied techniques.
