RESUMO:
Due to the particularities of the military profession, in order to be able to adopt good governance and internal control practices, it is necessary that the military's career is analyzed according to its specificities. In the present work, a Markovian study is carried out in relation to the career flow of the personnel of the armed forces of Brazil. It is intended to verify if it is possible, from the biometric and social states to which a military person may be subject, to attain a state of stability. A simplified modeling with six possible states was arbitrated, in order to guarantee the conditions for applying the Chapman-Kolmogorov equation. A 2018 Brazilian Navy database was used to estimate the assumption probabilities of each state. This paper brings a brief review of the concepts of Markov Chain and the results indicate that this technique is applicable for the sample in question, being possible to calculate the probabilities of steady state.
PALAVRAS-CHAVE: markov chain, steady state probability, brazilian armed forces.
