QUALITY ANALYSIS OF THE MOTOR PUMP ASSEMBLY PROCESS USING A TECHNICAL FMEA

RESUMO:
This work aims to demonstrate the application of the FMEA method in the identification and characterization of faults and their effects on a motor pump assembly line. The process was analyzed and selected some failure modes, mainly in relation to parts that were the responsibility of the machining. For each failure in the mode, its priority risk number (NPR) was determined through the combined analysis of the occurrence, severity and failure detection factors. From the analysis of the failure modes, actions were taken so that there was a threat in relation to parts with defects of previous processes, using the coordinator of the machining sector that was characterized as the sector with the greatest origin of the failure methods, it was an action plan was executed to minimize and prevent defects in parts processed by its sector, it was possible to verify whether the actions were a high viability, as these actions were carried out with an immediate result, a low cost and did not disrupt the process already carried out by the sector.
